3.   Refuse to get even with them. (v. 17)

³⁵ To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.


 




Why You Should Not Avenge Yourself  

• Because it is an act of anger.
• Because GOD is already doing it.
• Because GOD alone claims the right to vengeance.

4.   Show kindness to them.  (v. 20-21)


Applications

1.   Ask GOD for a forgiving heart, because all four of these 
      Christian responses require a forgiving spirit.  

2.   Ask yourself if there is someone to whom you need 
      to extend grace and forgiveness.
