Our lives are filled with all kinds of special things--- favorite foods, heart trending music, breathtaking beauty, poignant moments with family, career milestones, birth, maturity, reconciliation and so much more. However, as incredibly moving as these experiences are, we do ourselves a disservice if we are quick to claim that they are great.
Only GOD is Great! Only HE is deserving of such a five-star rating. Only GOD is perfect! Consider this acronym: "GOD Rules Everything Always Terrifically." Now that's gr-r-r-eat!
As with the word "Love", when we overuse a word that (by definition) is to be used sparingly, it loses its punch. Nest time you catch yourself saying something is really great, rewind the tape and replace the adjective. Meanwhile, take time today to be conscious of all that is great about out Great GOD!
