All we like Sheep have gon astray; Isaiah 53:6 KJV

Myopia is the ultimate condition of nearsightedness. It's a case of looking out for ourselves.

We are all born with this "I" disorder.  From the very beginning we seek our own way, see what we want to see. and close our eyes to others.  In all reality, at the center of sin is a preoccupation with"me".

That's why sin is sometimes written this way: s-I-n

But GOD'S vision for our lives is not restricted by out blindness. When we admit our selfishness and seek healing,  GOD focuses HIS grace in our direction with laser like precision and deals with the "I" of s-I-n.

The beauty of GOD'S remedy is that, it does more than heal our individual situation; it has national implication.,  When we come before HIM as a nation and admit our myopia.  He restores our ability to look to HIM as the moral compass of our country.

This draws us into an attitude of contrition and confession.  Allow it to move you to identify an "I" infection that may be preventing you from seeing GOD in all HIS fullness.

Isaiah 53:6   King James Version (KJV)

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
