(2.) What was the purpose of the rain during Noah's day?
GOD became sorry that HE had made man and decided HE would destroy him.
When GOD decided that HE would destroy man from the face of the earth, GOD found a man named Noah that was righteous, to build the ark.
Every living thing was destroyed by water, that was not in the ark, which stayed upon the earth for 150 days.
It took 3 months for the waters to go down before Noah, could open the ark's window and send out a raven.
