 3 Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)

See your movies and games vividly on the LCD Projectors, when using the TV Projector as a Video Projector.

You will be pleasantly surprised to know that the Epson 3500 ANSI Lumens Projector offers 3 LCD. What exactly is 3 LCD? Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). It is an electronic optical device made up of any number of segments filled with liquid crystals and placed in an orderly arrangement in front of a light source, back light, or reflector to produce images in color, or shades of one color.

Well, let me further explain, it means that a projector using 3 LCD, works by first taking away the white light from the lamp, and putting it into three primary colors of red, green and blue by passing the lamp light through a special filter.

This filter has a reflector group called dichroic mirrors. Dichroic mirrors are mirrors with considerably different reflection or transmission properties at two different wavelengths.

Each dichroic mirror only allows certain colored wavelengths of light to pass through while reflecting the rest away, while using your own Movie Projector.

In this way, the white light is split into its three primary color beams and each is directed toward, and following in time or order through its own LCD panel.
