  3. Retreat to a spot for a quiet time of meditating and reflecting.
  4. Spend time alone.
  5. Write a poem.
  6. Write a letter to an old friend.
  7. Plan your next three months' goals.
  8. Enroll in a class at your local college.
  9. Think of possible changes in your life.
  10. List everything for which you are thankful.
  11. Memorize a poem.
  12. Learn to play an instrument.
  13. Go to the beach and listen to the waves.
  14. Reach back to joyful times as a child and think about them.
