It is a FREE gift to be adopted into the family of GOD!!!!

 

Because Annie is accustomed to earning her keep at the orphanage, when she is asked what she would like to do first, the little orphan girl stops to think.  When told she doesn't have to do any chores in her new home,  Annie can't believe it.  It sounds too good to be true.

Being adopted into the family of GOD is nothing we can earn.  It is a FREE gift.  Salvation and eternal life are bequeathed or passed on or GOD will leave them to us. 

 All the same, recognizing what has been given to us ( and can't be taken away), we are overwhelmed with love and want to serve the LORD as a way of saying thanks.  What we do is a way of expressing our love.

1 Samuel 12:24

“Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.”

Before you ask GOD to do something for you today, make yourself available to HIM and listen for ways that HE might want you to serve HIM.
