JEHOVAH-SHALOM: The LORD Our Peace Judges 6:1-24 By Dr. David Higgs 9-06-20

 SHALOM

As a noun, the Hebrews word SHALOM means "completeness, health, and welfare."

It implies being in harmony with GOD and man.  It also indicates a state of being at

ease not restless, having peace both inwardly and outwardly.  Also, being at rest both spiritually,

 and emotionally.  As a verb, SHALOM means to make peace.

A Closer Look At GOD'S Peace

"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on YOU, because he trusts in YOU."

Isaiah 26:3

Question:   What can you have?

Answer:      Perfect Peace


Question:    Who can give perfect peace to you?

Answer:      The LORD

 

Question:     How do you get perfect peace?

Answer:       Whose mind is stayed on GOD!

 

Question:     Why does the LORD give perfect peace?

Answer:       When we trust in GOD!

What Are The Results Of  Peace? 

  1. Others will notice.
  2. Your life will be different.
