Escaping Temptation ---- I Corinthians 10:11-13

1   Everyone is tempted

2   Temptation have their limitations --- James 1:13-15

   "GOD is Faithful; HE will not let you be tempted beyond that which you can bear"

3   GOD has promised to help you escape temptation.

    "but when you are tempted, HE will also provide a way out."

Tactics For Beating Temptation

1.   Realize that to be forewarned is to be forearmed
 
2.   Don't put yourself in a situation where you will be tempted.
 
3.   Walk, and run from temptation    II Timothy 2:22
 
4.   Don't believe satan's lies 
 
5.   Lean on the Lord
 
6.   Fall in Love with JESUS 
 
7.   Hate sin likes GOD hates sin
 
8.   Fear the consequences of giving in to temptation
 
9.   Choose GODLY friends
 
10.  Take a bold stand for Christian convictions
 
11.  Familiarize  yourself  with tragedies of temptation
 
12.  Understand  that temptation originates from satan and hell
 
13.  Get rid of all pride
