A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him 

before great men.  Proverbs 18: 16

       What exactly does this scripture mean?  What are we suppose to get from the meaning of this scripture text?   Well, what I think it means is this, that whatever gift or talent that God Almighty has given to you, soon one day will create a large way for you to become noticed by great men.  In other words, your talent or your gift from GOD, will enable you to be blessed so you can be a blessing. Once you are noticed by great men, you are instantly one of them.  The reason you will be noticed by great men, is mainly explained, because it is then that great recognizes great.  You yourself are great, because of your talent or gift from God, and this has enable you to be around other great people.   

        The gift from God will make room for you, so please do not forget, who gave you the gift, in the first place.  Be forever grateful for the gift that God has given you, because now your gift will take you places to meet great people.  Be careful, not to get the big head.  Remember to be humble, because God entrusted you to have this gift for a reason and a season.  That time limit, means that God is up to something of a greater purpose, not just for you, but also for your fellow man.  Your gift is not just for you, but your gift is for the world at large to enjoy and benefit from the blessing thereof.

      Purposely, I believe God is behind all of the gift giving, because everything good comes from above.  So, when God gives a gift, this gift is not just for the person with the gift, but also for everyone that the person with the gift comes in contact with.  Therefore, this gift makes room for the gift to be shared, admired, and enjoyed by great men present everywhere.
