 3.   Why is the Holy Spirit considered a part of the GODhead?

 

The Holy Spirit is part of the GODhead, the third person of the Trinity.  GOD the Father, the Word (JESUS), and the Holy Spirit   I John5:7. 

The Holy Spirit was there when GOD made man and moved upon the prophets of old, but the Holy Spirit did not live inside them.

Receiving the Holy Spirit is receiving a weapon against Satan.

The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Truth.  He is a helper, teacher, and comforter, by reminding believers of things they may have forgotten.
